What is this?
Slender is a reinterpretation of the horror game Slender from 2012, built as a Minecraft game on Minestom. It is an asymmetrical multiplayer game: by default one player takes the role of Slender and the others are survivors. The survivors have to search the map and collect pages before time runs out, while Slender hunts them.
The remake is inspired by the version on the Dans-Arcade server, which no longer exists, but it takes its own direction in several areas.
What the game offers
- Collecting pages: Survivors search the map for scattered pages. How many pages a round needs depends on the number of players and includes a random element.
- Stamina: Sprinting drains stamina. A fleeing survivor has to decide when to run and when to hide.
- Jumpscares and atmosphere: A dedicated jumpscare system and ambient sounds keep the tension up.
- Resource pack: A custom resource pack adjusts the visuals and the ambient audio.
- Spectator mode: Defeated players join the spectator team and watch the remaining survivors.
- Creek: Since version 2.15.0, a server-controlled figure next to Slender stalks survivors and can catch them.
Who is it for?
Slender is for players who want to experience the game as a team of survivors or as the hunter, and for server operators who want to run a horror minigame with roles, stamina and a custom resource pack.
